Inspiration

In a nod to David Yurman’s early sculptural practice, DY Mercer® takes its name from the Soho neighborhood that was home to David’s first studio. Links alternate in scale and finish, suggesting a lively variation of tone and rhythm that echoes the artistic energy of the historic New York City street.

Expression

A mix of textures and surface treatments give these designs a contemporary look. Links with exaggerated oval shapes are arranged in alternating sizes, creating relaxed silhouettes punctuated with oversized toggles. Unexpected combinations of materials, like Cable-textured blackened silver alongside pavé-set cognac diamonds and rose gold, add unexpected depth. Since its launch in 2022, the collection has grown to include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings.
