Meteorite
The 4-billion-year-old Gibeon meteorite, weighing between 50 and 70 tons, burst into smaller fragments high in the atmosphere and fell to Earth sometime between 10,000 and 30,000 years ago. Evan Yurman, David and Sybil’s son, and the company’s Chief Creative Officer, chose Gibeon meteorite for its unique markings and patterns—each specimen is beautifully one-of-a-kind. “There is a natural art to these pieces,” Evan explains. “Something that I didn’t have control over, and really nobody had control over.”
